MY DYING BRIDE Reportedly Cancels All 2024 Shows, Replaced By AGALLOCH At Maryland Death Fest

My Dying Bride had to pull out of Maryland Death Fest 2024, but Agalloch stepped in to take their place. This show will mark Agalloch’s first East Coast performance since 2014, making it a highly anticipated event since their reunion.

The organizers of Maryland Death Fest shared that My Dying Bride canceled all their scheduled shows for 2024, although the band itself hasn’t given a statement yet.

“After waiting for 2 months without any response to our emails, My Dying Bride recently informed us about their decision to cancel all shows for 2024,” said the organizers. “We understand the disappointment, especially for fans who planned travel around their MDF appearance. But we’re not leaving anyone hanging. Agalloch has stepped up to fill the slot on Friday 5/24.”

The organizers expressed frustration over the situation, particularly concerning fans who had made arrangements based on My Dying Bride’s participation. They also clarified that the cancellation wasn’t due to health reasons.

“This will be a special East Coast performance for Agalloch, their first since 2014,” the organizers added in a comment.
