Robert Plant and Alison Krauss are set to embark on a highly anticipated return to North America with their “Can’t Let Go” tour. This reunion comes much sooner than their previous two tours, with only a 12-year gap between them. The iconic Rock And Roll Hall Of Famer and the 27-time Grammy winner will grace the stage for nearly 30 headline dates during the spring and summer, promising a musical journey that spans amphitheaters, pavilions, opera houses, and historic venues nationwide.
The tour kicks off on June 2, commemorating a centennial celebration at the legendary Cain’s Ballroom. The dynamic duo, accompanied by their all-star band, will deliver mesmerizing vocal performances and unique arrangements, captivating audiences from coast to coast. Described as “a master class of a concert” by the Chicago Tribune and hailed as “a collaboration that should last for evermore” by Variety, the live show promises an unforgettable experience.
Support for the tour will be provided by JD McPherson, who also takes on the role of lead guitarist for Plant and Krauss. The ensemble includes drummer Jay Bellerose, bassist Dennis Crouch, multi-talented string player Stuart Duncan, and Viktor Krauss on keys and guitar. Drawing inspiration from their acclaimed albums, “Raising Sand” (2007) and “Raise The Roof” (2021), produced by T Bone Burnett, the duo will present a cosmic collision of early blues, country deep cuts, revolutionary folk-rock, and reimagined renditions of LED ZEPPELIN classics like “The Battle Of Evermore” and “Rock & Roll.”
Plant and Krauss are committed to giving fans, rather than scalpers, the best chance to secure tickets at face value. To facilitate this, fans who purchase tickets through Ticketmaster and are unable to attend can resell them to other fans at the original price through Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange. The artists have opted for mobile-only tickets restricted from transfer to protect the Face Value Exchange, applicable to all shows ticketed by Ticketmaster.
As the “Can’t Let Go” 2024 tour unfolds, additional dates are yet to be revealed, promising an expansive and enchanting musical journey for fans across the United States and Canada. Don’t miss the opportunity to witness Robert Plant and Alison Krauss weave their musical magic in a city near you.
