Gallagher, last on stage at Worthy Farm in 2022 with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds before Paul McCartney’s iconic set, enjoyed the festival as a spectator this time. Reflecting on his experience with friend Matt Morgan on a Patreon podcast, Gallagher praised LCD Soundsystem’s performance, previously likening them to Talking Heads but now thoroughly impressed. He also lauded Jungle’s headline show and particularly praised Kneecap, whose politically charged Gaelic rap won him over during a late-night Shangri-La performance. Gallagher’s favorite act, however, was DJ Goldie’s drum ‘n’ bass set with its mesmerizing live band. Kneecap, known for their controversial edge, embrace their role in provoking societal discourse, supported by Heavenly Records for their uncompromising artistic and political stance.
