Korn is gearing up to mark the 30th anniversary of their iconic debut album with a colossal show at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on October 5. The lineup boasts a mix of nostalgia and fresh talent, featuring Evanescence, Gojira, Daron Malakian and Scars On Broadway, Spiritbox, and Vended.
Expressing his gratitude for the remarkable journey, Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis said, “Reflecting on thirty years of Korn fills me with such immense gratitude for our journey, the growth we’ve experienced, and the incredible bond we share with our fans.”
Davis added, “It’s humbling to see how our music has touched so many lives across the globe. From our small club beginnings to now headlining stadiums, it’s been an unforgettable ride, and we owe it all to our amazing, undying, loyal community that’s made it possible.”
Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday, March 8, at 10 AM PST. While there are lingering questions about Fieldy’s return from a three-year hiatus and whether Korn will perform the self-titled album in its entirety, Davis hinted in a 2022 interview that he might skip “Daddy” live. He acknowledged the darkness of the album, stating, “As we got into Follow The Leader, it became more about groove. The emotion was there, but it wasn’t that particular darkness we captured on that first record.” The anticipation builds for this milestone celebration, and fans are eager to see what surprises the night holds.
