Confirmed: Richie Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi To Reunite at Grammy Charity Event Next Week

According to a report from Roger Friedman’s Showbiz 411, there’s buzz that guitarist Richie Sambora will be present to celebrate when Jon Bon Jovi receives the honor of being named the 2024 MusiCares Person Of The Year. The prestigious event is scheduled for Friday, February 2, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Traditionally, the Person Of The Year benefit features a lineup of prominent artists performing renditions of the honoree’s songs. Moreover, there’s a tantalizing possibility of a Bon Jovi mini-reunion, as sometimes the honoree takes the stage during the event.

The anticipation has been building since October when MusiCares announced Jon Bon Jovi as the honoree for the 33rd annual Person Of The Year benefit gala. The Grammy-winning frontman and founding member of the legendary American rock band Bon Jovi is set to be recognized on February 2, just two nights before the 2024 Grammys, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Expressing his gratitude, Jon Bon Jovi shared, “I’m truly humbled to be this year’s MusiCares honoree. MusiCares’ work with music professionals is vitally important in creating much-needed support and wellness programs that cultivate a healthier and more vibrant community for us all.” He emphasized the profound impact of philanthropic work on his life, noting its parallel journey with his music career. Reflecting on the inception of the JBJ Soul Foundation and JBJ Soul Kitchens nearly two decades ago, he emphasized the ongoing positive impact of charitable, community-based initiatives. He concluded with a powerful statement: “Helping one’s community is helping one’s self.”
