Watch: Zakk Wylde Performs BLACK SABBATH Classics In 2023

Zakk Sabbath, a Black Sabbath cover band featuring Zakk Wylde, John “JD” DeServio, and Joey Castillo, recently performed at Rams Head Live in Baltimore. The band is known for its renditions of Black Sabbath’s music, delivering powerful performances that capture the essence of the original songs. They have announced the release of a new double album, “Doomed Forever Forever Doomed,” set to launch on March 1, 2024. This album will feature covers of Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid” and “Master Of Reality.”

The recording took place at the Black Vatican and Clear Lake Audio studios, produced by Wylde, with engineering by Jay Ruston and Adam Fuller. Łukasz Jaszak handled the artwork layout. The track listing is divided into two parts: “Doomed Forever” and “Forever Doomed,” each containing iconic Black Sabbath songs like “War Pigs,” “Iron Man,” “Sweet Leaf,” and “Into The Void.”

“Doomed Forever Forever Doomed” will be available in various formats, including a 2CD digisleeve, gatefold 2LP in different vinyl colors, and cassette tape. Zakk Sabbath’s “Tour Forever / Forever Tour” began in December 2023 and will conclude in January 2024 in Los Angeles, with support from The Native Howl.

Zakk Wylde reflects on the joy of playing these songs, likening it to his teenage years. He highlights the timeless power of music and its ability to evoke nostalgia. Previously, in September 2020, Zakk Sabbath released “Vertigo,” a tribute to Black Sabbath’s first album, showcasing their dedication to authentically recreating the original sound while adding their unique touch. This project demonstrates their deep respect for Black Sabbath’s legacy and their commitment to keeping the spirit of this legendary music alive.
