The Toronto International Film Festival will run from September 5th to September 15th, 2024. Among the first titles announced for this year’s edition are The Life of Chuck starring Mark Hamill and Tom Hiddleston, Nightbitch with Amy Adams, and the highly anticipated Elton John documentary.
Inside the Elton John Documentary
Elton John: Never Too Late will showcase unseen live footage from John’s illustrious career and offer glimpses into his current life. The documentary will emphasize his final tour, the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, which spanned almost five years. The tour began in the United States in the autumn of 2018 and covered hundreds of dates worldwide.
Despite facing postponements due to Covid-19 and injuries, the tour concluded last summer in Sweden. A highlight was John’s headline set at Glastonbury Festival in 2023, which attracted the largest overnight audience in the festival’s history, marking his final performance in the United Kingdom.
Glastonbury 2024 Lineup Highlights
Following the success of John’s performance last year, the 2024 Glastonbury Festival will feature headliners Dua Lipa, Coldplay, SZA, and Shania Twain. The lineup also includes indie rockers like LCD Soundsystem and The National, dance staples Disclosure and Jamie xx, and British rapper Little Simz.
