In a grand spectacle at the United Center, now rebranded as Ye, alongside Ty Dolla $ign, unveiled snippets from their much-anticipated Vultures LP. Among the tracks played was one featuring a snippet from Ozzy’s electrifying live performance of “Iron Man” at the 1983 US Festival.
Ozzy Osbourne swiftly responded to this usage, denouncing Kanye West on Instagram and leveling serious accusations, branding him an “anti-Semite.” The crux of his argument lay in West’s alleged attempt to sample “War Pigs” initially, a request that was rebuffed due to concerns over anti-Semitic sentiments.
Sharon Osbourne, not one to mince words, echoed her husband’s sentiment, emphasizing Kanye’s misstep in tangling with the Osbourne clan, famously declaring, “he had ‘f***ed with the wrong Jew this time.'”
However, Kanye West, ever the provocateur, responded in a manner befitting his enigmatic persona. In a cryptic update, he shared an image portraying Ozzy and Sharon dressed as himself and his wife, Bianca Censori, for Halloween. The image was laden with symbolism, hinting at the idea that perhaps Ozzy’s remarks were not of his own volition but rather orchestrated by a behind-the-scenes figure—a “celebrity handler.”
Accompanying the image was a terse message from West, insinuating that Ozzy might not have been the mastermind behind the accusatory comments, suggesting a more calculated puppeteer pulling the strings.
