May 15, 2025 – New York City – Jurors in the federal sex trafficking trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs were shown disturbing evidence behind closed doors as the case against the music mogul continues to unfold.
In a tense Manhattan courtroom, the jury viewed graphic images taken from so-called “freak-offs” — drug-fueled sex parties that prosecutors claim were orchestrated by Combs to exploit and control women, including his former girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura.
Cassie, who has been a central witness in the trial, testified that she was pressured to take part in these parties, often under the influence of drugs like ecstasy and ketamine. She told the court that Combs not only forced her into sexual situations with male escorts but also filmed the encounters and used the footage as blackmail. “He told me he’d ruin my career if I ever left,” she said.
Although the graphic videos weren’t shown publicly, five still images were shared privately with the jury and attorneys. Reports from inside the courtroom describe jurors reacting visibly—some gasping, others covering their mouths. The images allegedly included Ventura and male escorts, alongside items like baby oil and lubricant, used during the events.
Judge Arun Subramanian ruled that the content would remain private to protect the identities and dignity of those involved.
Combs, who has pleaded not guilty to all charges, kept a calm expression as the evidence was shown. His legal team maintains that all sexual activity was consensual and denies claims of coercion or abuse.
Meanwhile, prosecutors continue to build a case that paints a darker picture — of power, manipulation, and trauma behind the glitz of fame. The trial is expected to last several weeks, with more witnesses scheduled to testify in the days ahead.
