For forty years, OVERKILL has been blazing trails in the world of metal, crafting unforgettable moments that define the genre. This April, they’re embarking on their “Scorching Latin America 2024” tour, bringing their electrifying performances to ten cities across the region.
Starting on April 11th in Guadalajara, Mexico, the tour will journey through Costa Rica, Chile, and Peru before culminating in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on April 28th. However, due to DD Verni’s recovery from shoulder surgery, bass duties will be expertly handled by none other than David Ellefson.
Bobby Blitz, the frontman of OVERKILL, expresses his excitement, saying, “With DD recovering, we’re going back to our thrash roots in South and Central America & Mexico! Welcome aboard, David Ellefson, for the ‘Scorching Latin America 2024’ tour!”
DD Verni, while disappointed to miss out on thrashing with their Latin American fans, acknowledges the necessity of healing, stating, “Who better than David Ellefson to fill in for me?”
