CREED Has “Almost An Entire Record” From Previous Reunion, But MARK TREMONTI Thinks They Can Do Better

Creed started making music back in 1994 and kept at it until 2004. Then, they took a break but got back together in 2009 for a bit before pausing again in 2012. Now, they’re back and ready to rock! They even had their own cruise recently.

Fans are buzzing with excitement because Creed has a massive tour planned across North America. They’re hitting cities like Green Bay, WI on July 17th and wrapping up in Orlando, FL on December 5th. That’s a lot of stops!

During their break, the band didn’t just sit around. They’ve been quietly working on new songs since 2012. Guitarist Mark Tremonti spilled the beans in an interview. He said they want to make sure their new music is super good before they share it with everyone. It’s like they’re cooking up something really tasty, but they want to add just the right spices!

In a 2012 interview with Ethan Dometrius, Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti disclosed that the band was working on new songs, but he believes they could do a little better.

“We were trying to get this back together about three years ago, right before COVID hit, so it kind of took things till now. But it’s always something in the back of our minds. Every time we get going and we’re doing promotions for new projects, everybody always asks us about new Creed music, new Creed tours. And it would be a shame not to get out there and continue to do it. I think just enough time has passed where people are dying to see Creed again, and we’re very excited about it.”

Tremonti added: “The last time we got together [more than a decade ago], we put together almost an entire another record, but it’s just kind of sitting there on my laptop waiting to be dug back into. But I thought, honestly, if we wrote some new music, we could do better than that. And we’ll kind of see what happens.”

What’s cool is that the tour won’t just be Creed. They’re bringing along other awesome bands like Switchfoot, Finger Eleven, and 3 Doors Down. So, if you’re a fan of rock music, this tour is a must-see!

Creed has an insane amount of tour dates coming up for the rest of the year.
