Bad Omens has called off all their European and UK tour dates for this summer due to vocalist Noah Sebastian’s severe burnout. In a statement from Sebastian, he explained that the decision was made to ensure the future of Bad Omens and to prioritize his own health.
“I’ve been dealing with what can only be described as extreme burnout,” Sebastian wrote. “While all the touring and hard work we’ve put into this album cycle over the past few years has been incredibly fulfilling, it has also pushed me to the brink mentally. The strain has been putting my mind and body at odds in ways that are starting to harm my health while on the road.
“With that in mind, we’ve decided, after much thought, to cancel all our upcoming performances this summer in Europe and the UK.
“This decision is crucial for my health and well-being, as well as for the long-term viability of Bad Omens. We need to recharge and gather the strength we’ll need as we move into the next phase.
“We understand this will be disappointing, but we ask for your understanding as we prioritize health first.”
Bad Omens is set to release their new album, Concrete Jungle [The OST], on May 31. This album is described as an experimental extension of their latest record, The Death Of Peace Of Mind, and serves as the soundtrack to their Concrete Jungle comic book universe. The project includes collaborations with artists like Poppy, Health, Bob Vylan, Wargasm, Jenny (Let’s Eat Grandma), and more. Pre-orders are available now.
