On 9/10, Roger Waters performs at the Moda Center in Portland as part of his world tour. On August 5 and 6, he will perform at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. This week, one of the minds behind the psychedelic progressive rock band Pink Floyd is performing in Philadelphia in two consecutive concerts. On August 5 and 6, Roger Waters, bassist and vocalist for Pink Floyd, will bring his This Is Not a Drill tour to the Wells Fargo Center.
Waters wrote the lyrics and performed on albums such as “Dark Side of the Moon,” “The Wall,” and “Wish You Were Here” with Pink Floyd, releasing hits such as “Comfortably Numb” and “Shine On You Crazy Diamond.” In 1996, the band’s members were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Floyd eventually left the group, but they reunited in April of this year to record a song in support of the Ukrainian people following the Russian invasion. The August 5 and 6 concerts are both scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Visit the Wells Fargo Center website for more information.
