Taylor Hawkins’ drumming is featured on the new King Princess song, “Let Us Die”

Mikaela Straus, also known as King Princess, a multi-instrumentalist, informed her fans on her official Instagram account that the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins played drums on her new song ‘Let Us Die.’  Taylor Hawkins had a significant impact on rock music, especially due to his exceptional drumming abilities with Foo Fighters. Before joining the group, he debuted in the music video for the single “Monkey Wrench.” Hawkins made numerous contributions to the band by playing guitar, piano, and drums, in addition to contributing vocals.

Throughout his successful music career, the drummer has also highlighted his solo works and collaborations with other musicians. His side project Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders produced works. They issued the albums ‘Red Light Fever’ and ‘Get the Money’. He played drums on Brian May’s 1998 solo track “Cyborg” and appeared on Slash’s debut solo album. He also contributed background vocals to Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crucify the Dead” Previously, Classless Act disclosed that they collaborated with Hawkins on a song by highlighting his significance to the group’s identity.  Recently, King Princess released her song ‘Let Us Die,’ on which the late drummer performed. She had posted videos from the recording session in which she praised Hawkins’ drumming. She was ecstatic when she learned they would collaborate with the successful drummer on this song. King Princess stated that Hawkins was incredibly encouraging throughout the entire recording process. She noted that she was unable to hold back her tears during the performance.  King Princess posted on Instagram:

“These are two excerpts from the recording session in which the legendary Taylor Hawkins graced my album with his magical drumming.” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing when Mark suggested that Taylor play “Let Us Die.” Taylor was not only willing to play on the song, but he was also the most uplifting and positive presence during the session. At one point, I began to cry, and Mark could not stop smiling. I have never felt so lucky. This song is what it is because of Taylor, and I cannot wait for you to hear it.”  You can hear the song down below.
