When you encounter a dirty, matted dog, it’s immediately evident that they aren’t living the happy, healthy life every dog deserves.
Such was the case for Chewie, an endearing eight-year-old dog who was heartlessly abandoned when his family moved away from their rental home.
Chewie didn’t cope well with this sudden abandonment. Left without a family, love, or anyone to care for him, he struggled to survive. Fortunately, a group of dedicated rescuers noticed him and decided to give him a much-needed makeover and a new lease on life.
