Just recently, the Smashing Pumpkins vocalist Billy Corgan expressed a lingering regret through his social media. In an Instagram story, the musician conveyed his sorrow about an Ozzy Osbourne concert from years ago.

The vocalist reposted a photo, which was captured by Paul Natkin and shared by an account that often posts photos of rock icons and unforgettable concerts. The recently shared image featured Randy Rhoads playing his guitar during Osbourne’s 1982 concert in Chicago.

This particular post captured Billy Corgan’s attention, prompting him to share it on his Instagram stories. Upon doing so, he took the opportunity to reflect on the Blizzard of Oz concert, revealing that he was absent from the performance. This fact seems to still bother him as he exclaimed that he’ll never forgive himself for missing that show.

In the caption accompanying the picture, it was written:

The text he added to his story read:

“The show I missed in ’82 that I can never forgive myself for.”

Although the concert in question was Osbourne’s solo show, it’s no secret that the Pumpkins singer is a fan of Black Sabbath. In various interviews, the musician has openly shared his admiration for the band, often diving into his emotional connection with their music.
