SKID ROW Parts Ways With Singer ERIK GRÖNWALL, LZZY HALE Announced As Replacement

SKID ROW has decided to part ways with Erik Grönwall, their Swedish vocalist. Lzzy Hale from HALESTORM, a close friend of the band, will step in to sing at their upcoming concerts.

Erik made this decision because he feels that the demands of touring and traveling aren’t good for his overall health and recovery. He wants to focus on a lifestyle that helps him feel better, heal, and be with his family.

The band members expressed pride in what they achieved with Erik in the past two years and wished him well with his health. They will release a live album soon to celebrate this period in their 35-plus-year history.

Erik shared, “Joining SKID ROW was a dream after my leukemia treatment. Touring worldwide with them was amazing! However, it’s tough with a weakened immune system from my transplant. SKID ROW tours a lot, and I can’t risk my health. So, I’ve decided to step back.”

He thanked SKID ROW and their fans, emphasizing that health comes first.
