Ozzy Osbourne has been making the headlines with his deteriorating health, but the 73-year-old rocker seems to have no intentions of retiring. Osbourne recently disclosed his one final wish about his career while chatting with Consequence.
“I’m determined to get back on the stage again,” told the rocker. “I don’t think I’ll be doing f*cking nine-month tours anymore. But I don’t even know myself. Right now, I’m still in recovery, and I have a goal. And my goal is to get back onstage.”
During the conversation, Osbourne stressed the importance of performing on stage regardless of his current recovery process. He continued, “It’s the driving force in me. I miss my audience. I miss doing gigs. I miss my crew. I miss my band. I miss the whole thing.”
Though the rocker experienced numerous health issues in the past, his passion for music seems to overpower his struggles. With the arrival of his latest album, ‘Patient Number 9,’ and these recent comments, Osbourne reassured anyone who doubted he wouldn’t be back to the stage and tour one more time before retiring.
The Black Sabbath icon previously mentioned his retirement plans and stated that releasing an album isn’t enough if a tour doesn’t follow it. It appears that the musician isn’t content with his current state despite putting out an album and will not stop until he gets back on the stage.
