How Stevie Nicks Nearly Destroyed Her Natural Charm

Stevie Nicks first appeared on the music scene with her then-boyfriend Lindsey Buckingham, and over time, her prominence on the rock music scene grew. Her fame and popularity grew after she joined Fleetwood Mac as a singer and songwriter, and the songs she penned, such as ‘Landslide’ and ‘Dreams,’ have made her a respected name in the rock industry. The vocalist’s distinctive vocals and lyrics contributed to the band’s multiple hit songs.  In addition to her musical talent, Nicks has gained notoriety for her beauty and style. In her early years as a performer, she donned gypsy-bohemian costumes that included flowing skirts, shawls, and platform boots. The rock star still favors wearing black, floaty dresses during performances, and her beauty captivates the audience. However, after receiving Botox, the vocalist almost ruined her natural beauty.

How Did Botox Nearly Ruin Stevie Nicks’ Appeal? Stevie Nicks disclosed in an interview with the Guardian that she was aware of her beauty from a young age, but she was also aware that it would diminish with time. The singer even penned an unreleased song titled “Prettiest Girl in the World” with the lyrics “She was the prettiest girl in the world / But that was a long time ago” to remind her young friends that beauty is temporary.  Nicks disclosed her Botox use while discussing her experience as a woman who ages in the public eye. During the disclosure of a memory, she mentioned that botox makes people look like they belong to a “satanic cult.” According to the singer, she had it only once in the past, and it left her face disfigured for several months. While attempting to raise her eyebrow, her reflection reminded her of “Satan’s angry daughter.” Nicks stated she would never use Botox again in the future.

Stevie Nicks commented on the botox as follows:  Botox only makes you look like you’re a member of a Satanic cult. I had it only once, but it ravaged my face for four months. I would try to raise my eyebrow in the mirror and say, “Oh, there you are, Satan’s angry daughter.” Never more. I watch a lot of news, and all the female newscasters also resemble Satan’s enraged daughters. Although Stevie Nicks stated in the interview that she believes her beauty diminishes with age, her fans continue to praise her beauty despite her advancing years. Due to her previous negative experience with Botox, it appears that she embraces her age-related wrinkles rather than receiving a treatment.
