History of Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner’s Relationship

Both warm and cold! Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner have experienced a variety of highs and lows throughout their relationship, but they always seem to return to one another. In April 2017, just weeks after breaking up with her longtime boyfriend Tyga, the star of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and the rapper went public with their relationship at Coachella. The couple’s daughter Stormi was born in February of 2018. Us Weekly confirmed that after more than two years together, the couple was taking a break from their relationship. Throughout their relationship, “Kylie and Travis have been on and off at various times,” a source said in October 2019, shortly after the couple’s split was made public. Kylie still loves Travis, so this is not a complete breakup for either of them.

According to a second source who spoke to Us at the time, the couple had never been in a “traditional relationship,” but they were “extremely in love” before deciding to take a break. Even though they were apart, the Kylie Cosmetics founder and Grammy nominee remained close and were committed to raising their daughter together. Because the couple worked so well together, even their closest friends supported their reconciliation efforts and could “see them getting back together in the future.” In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar published in March 2020, Jenner raved about her close coparenting relationship with the “Butterfly Effect” rapper. She referred to Scott and herself as “best friends” at the time. “We both love [our daughter] Stormi, and we want the best for her. We maintain communication and coordination. I consider what my parents, Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner, would do in Stormi’s situation. I wish for Stormi to receive the same individualized treatment as I did.

Multiple media outlets confirmed the couple’s reconciliation later that month. According to Entertainment Tonight, the reality TV star and her ex-boyfriend have been dating for about a month, but according to a source from In Touch, they are taking things slowly because Jenner has trust issues.  Kylie’s nephew, Mason Disick, refuted the rumors, however. Travis stated in a March 2020 Instagram live video that he and Kylie were not back together. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple focused on coparenting their daughter in the year that followed. In May 2021, they were spotted holding hands at one of Travis’ concerts at Liv Nightclub in Miami. According to an eyewitness who spoke on the condition of anonymity to Us, “They were visibly together and appeared to be enjoying each other’s company.” In August 2021, the on-again, off-again couple will welcome their first child. 2.
