Ghost have released their version of Iron Maiden’s “Phantom of the Opera”, which is lifted from the band’s upcoming EP “Phantomime”, due for release this Friday, May 19.
The song was originally released in 1980 as part of Maiden’s self-titled debut, and it became a fan-favorite and a live staple for the heavy metal legends.
Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge has never been shy about his love for Maiden, saying in an interview with Planet Rock:
“When it comes to work ethics and just the sheer volume of work you have to put into your job [and] in your craft has always been inspiring to me.”
