Dan Bongino, the FBI’s Deputy Director, stirred up online attention with a post on May 10 announcing that the FBI would soon release important information on several major topics, including the Russia hoax targeting President Trump and the Jeffrey Epstein case.
Bongino, known for his strong support of President Trump, mentioned that although he couldn’t promise a specific timeline, the FBI is moving quickly to make these disclosures. This comes at a time when public frustration is growing over the FBI and DOJ’s lack of transparency, especially regarding the Epstein case and his list of clients.
Bongino opened his post by saying that he wanted to highlight both the strengths and areas needing improvement within the FBI. He shared that the FBI is focused on illegal immigration, stating, “We’re actively working to remove dangerous illegal aliens and secure our borders.” He also highlighted the agency’s efforts in fighting child predators, mentioning the success of “Restoring Justice,” which led to the arrest of 764 individuals involved in child exploitation.
He went on to address the Epstein case, acknowledging its complexity. “We’re working with the DOJ to handle sensitive details, including a large volume of child abuse materials and victim statements that need special protection,” he explained.
Additionally, Bongino touched on the FBI’s ongoing improvements, emphasizing efforts to manage the budget responsibly and root out inefficiencies. “We’re committed to reform, and we make sure every dollar is spent wisely,” he said.
While acknowledging the media’s critical portrayal of the FBI, Bongino defended Director Patel, countering false claims about his work ethic. “Director Patel is working tirelessly to improve the agency,” he stated, “and claims to the contrary are false.”
Bongino concluded his post with gratitude for the public’s attention and urged continued accountability. “Stay with us as more developments unfold. May God bless America and all those who protect her,” he said.
