Kiss Daniel is released by Tanzanian police after a concert no-show

Oluwatobi Daniel aka Kizz Daniel, a Nigerian singer, has been released by Tanzanian police following his arrest on Monday afternoon. The singer was arrested for failing to perform at a concert scheduled for Sunday. Kiss Daniel was detained at the Oyster Bay Police Station, Civil Police in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, after failing to appear for a paid performance in the East African nation. Sunday evening, Kizz Daniel was scheduled to perform at the Warehouse, Old Nextdoor Arena in Tanzania as part of his Afro Classic World Tour.

Monday’s tweet from the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) confirmed the news: “His (Kiss Daniel’s) legal team will however report back to the police tomorrow, and he will subsequently return to Nigeria.” Journalism that is objective, fearless, and data-driven incurs enormous financial costs.
